This past Sunday was a wonderful beginning to the Lenten season. We began our time of preparation for the wonder of Easter together as a church family. God has reached out to us in an awesome way. To skip out on worship during this holy season would be to deny what God has done out of love for you.
Sunday I challenged all of you who were in worship to be in church every Sunday through Easter. Those who were here Sunday already have a head start on those who were absent. Yet, even if you missed worship last week it is not too late to get to church for the rest of this preparation season. Worshipping with your brothers and sisters in Christ is an important part of honoring God’s love for you and of saying “I love you” to the members of your Christian family.
I am praying that I will see you this Sunday and every Sunday through the Lenten season.
