Children dancing & the disabled receiving food . . These are the images we have received from our partners through Week of Compassion. While the news media highlights the lack of infrastructure, and problems distributing aid, Disciples are able to do effective relief work because of the partnerships that were in place before this disaster.
There is a House of Hope, which cares for children in Haiti. None of the children were lost in this tragic quake. Social workers are helping them work through the mental aftershock of the tragedy.
