The church is God's people. We have life because God is with us. We have hope because God cares about us. We have joy because God's Holy Spirit dwells within us.
Many criticize the church. They say that church people say one thing and do another. Yet the church is not a museum of perfect Christian art. It is a place where many works in progress are found. We do not come to church because we think we are perfect. We come because we know we are not. We come to learn and to grow to become more Christ-like. We accept that this goal will take a lifetime to complete, but we are committed to serving The One who came to serve. Jesus said, "come to me, all who are weak and heavy laden and I will give you rest." Well, here we are Lord, complete with warts and flaws. We are here to find rest in your church.

The Church is God's gift to us. It is in fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ that we find God's life, hope, and joy. Truly the church is God's people.
